If there was one element that infuses a space with warmth, character, and color it would be architectural salvage. These pieces are often focal points of a new renovation, whether a kitchen, bathroom, or living room.
At Kara O’Brien Renovations, we’ve been restoring and renovating with century old pieces since 1997. And we have the distinct advantage of having a 1800 square foot storage space dedicated to the collecting of these pieces for reuse in our work.
Our collection includes just about everything that can be built into a house including newel posts, mantels, antique fireplace tiles, heart of pine flooring, antique oak flooring, antique medicine cabinets, old windows with wavy glass, cast iron fireplace surrounds, wainscoting, stair parts, interior and exterior doors, Victorian and Craftsman heart of pine trim boards, stained glass, beveled leaded glass, old sinks, antique lighting, door hardware, gingerbread, and even a 57 foot Victorian porch from the coast of Maine.
We also sell our salvaged goodies as by appointment only.
