The bathroom got a make-over that is modern, yet classic and traditional.
The room was essentially rebuilt from the floor joists up. A neighboring closet was incorporated into the bathroom to open the bathroom up a little. The tub was shifted into this newly claimed space, and the toilet was placed in a private nook at the far end of the room.
The original cast iron tub was refurbished and topped with crackle glazed subway tiles that run to the ceiling.
The ebony stained vanity, medicine cabinet, and door provide a contrast to the white beaded board wainscoting, pale walls, and white hex-tile floors.
